Which Truth Is True?

In a recent commentary on a ISM I read about the tendency to ask  questions before embarking on a spiritual experience. Asking questions is a must, because otherwise, how do we know where we stand and what intention to set.

We must ask questions to determine what is important and what direction we want to take.

There is a tendency for a constant NEED to prove the truth of the experience to ourselves. How do we know we are alive? How do we know that what we discover is truly the truthful truth anyway? How about that because we become aware about some feelings, sensations, about ourselves, somethings shift and our awareness raises, the vibration suddenly become different, and we are moved into the next moment of the next reality where other truths are really the truth?

Someone else points out that physics and hypnosis cannot co-exist. They say, we have to throw our life knowledge out the window. On the opposite, IMO hypnosis and in particular higher consciousness awareness have much to do with physics, particularly with the bio-physics.

"In hypnosis, it is possible to stimulate cerebellum to reach the oscillation in brain waves of 80-120Hz called Gamma waves, which are implicated in various research for creating a perception of "unity consciousness", which in transpersonal experience can be used to achieve higher consciousness information flow states. "

In hypnosis one may or may not "see" the "future", mainly because what is future? Time can be circular, or it maybe that time has only perceptional value. In either case, non-linearity of the hypnotic awareness leads to experiencing familiar and often metaphorical representations, visualizations in various perceptual formats (visual, sensory, auditory), and in accordance with each person's belief system, which they further call future, or past lives, or parallel realities.

Happy Holidays! and books

Happy Holidays!

It is crazy freezing cold on the other end of the globe where religious people are lining up for a mile to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow to kiss the Virgin Belt for good luck.

Today on the 60F beautiful Day After the Thanksgiving holiday I visited my friend who just had a major surgery, she is laying in bed recovering.

No TV in the bedroom, no-no! If I had to lay for days, I would be knitting, or drawing, or reading. Yes, definitely reading.

When I have time to sit around, or travel I always have a book to read....er... listen to.

Most of the people I speak with are already subscribers to Audible.  I've been enjoying downloading and listening to my collection since 2007.  I've listened my way around the world, and continue to find listening to books the best way for me to stay on top of much of the cutting edge work going on in neuroscience, as well as attempting for Ayn Rands' Atlas Shrugged for entertainment.

Sorry to sound like a big ad for Audible, but I love these guys, and I want to share it with you.  It's organized so you can listen on your PC, your Ipod, or even your Smartphone.

Let me make a couple of recommendations from my list this year, and I hope you find it as useful and enjoyable as I have.

Art and creativity meet science. Truly amazing observation

The Body Has a Mind of Its Own (Unabridged) by Sandra Blakslee non-fiction

This book changed the way I view much of the work I do, and has impacted the results I get with clients.

Atlas Shrugged  by Ayn Rand

Happy and Safe Thanksgiving to you,

Dragon up your life!

The next year is a year of the Black Water Dragon 2012.

In Chinese philosophy dragon symbolizes action, energy leadership and vitality.

So in the next year it is suggested to concentrate your efforts on creating, action around what you want to create in your life, with the emphasis on centered awareness about the other in your life.

The color of water in chinese astrology is related to black. Water is a strong luck sign. Black water is a very auspicious sign of life suddenly turning its wonderful side to you.

It is all up to you to make the best of it. Leadership qualities are a mind-set. How will you use the next year to create the best of your opportunities?

So begin now by creating an awareness in your environment and assess where you personally need space and skill, and begin by taking steps in the direction of personal transformation in preparation to the next step in your life.

Last night I sat across my transpersonal hypnosis client explaining to her steps she came up with in her higher consciousness session. Seeing the wisdom awareness and being able to interpret it for your personal concrete life situations is an invaluable way of experiencing the depth of higher consciousness in Life Between Lives.

This is why we prepare a list of questions and intentions to work on when you enter in the higher consciousness state of awareness and develop a line of steps for yourself, that you can use in every day life.

When you decide to experience the inner wisdom you have through LBL Life Between Lives, enter your name and the leadership strategy for your next step starts there.

The Use of Hypnotic Dreams

What is the use of hypnosis?
Some say it brings solutions to their issues.

Kekule, a remarkable figure in history of organic chemistry, had become  a Nobel Prize Laureat, because he used hypnotic awareness toward his discovery of the benzene molecule.

One of the most famous dreams in history, his Benezene dream was highly publicized and it went like this:

Trying to resolve the chemistry problem contemplating his Structure Theory, he fell into a dreamy-like state, where the molecules started to form little chains and as the snake biting his own tail he saw them in his mind. He later spent time drawing down the creatures he saw in his dream, outlining their motions,  which led to his most profound discovery of foundations for Structure Theory.

Many famous people "dreamt" up their discoveries. In 1965 Paul McCartney found his tune for Yesterday - performed over 7 million times in 20th century.

In 1936, a German phisiologist Otto Loewi dreamt up chemical transmission of nerve impulses and won the Nobel Prize.

In 1845 Elias Howe invented a sewing machine seeing a dream about the natives waving the spears with holes in them.

I have long been fascinated by dreaming, lucid dreaming and directed dreaming. Later when I learned hypnosis I realized that hypnotic visions and dreaming are the same thing. Once the intense thought  initiates an intention toward some purpose, our mind begins to make sense of the reality around us in a metaphorical way, seeking symbology and representation through our right brain and making logical connections in the left, which are not possible in the waking reality because there is too much of the conscious interference, interruptions and stress overload. Once you relax and begin to let your mind relax the solution come to the surface. The one solution that comes to the surface is usually the best one and the simplest one.

What are you dreaming about?

Want to Know the Answers to Your Most Fundamental Questions?

Last week at a family funeral, I witnessed something profound. With her hand on the casket, I heard this 92-year old woman whisper to her deceased brother, "Leave some room up there for me." And as she wiped her tears and turned around she said, "What am I still doing here?"

Do you ask yourself when finally will you be able to have your happiness?

I was just like you. Until one day I met a hypnotherapist who gave me an opportunity to meet with my angel.

I had a conversation with my angel about some serious things I was deciding at that time. When in a moment I felt another angel pulling my sleeve. Literally, I FELT IT!
The second angel said to me, "Stop, let's play." I am not kidding! The hypnotherapist explained the message from the angel. I must relax, she said. I took a week of work and went to Ireland on vacation. That week 9/11 happened and when I came back I found out that the building where I worked was destroyed.....

Ever ask yourself this question: What is my purpose? Why am I here? What legacy will I leave behind?

"I think I know who I am?"
"I believe I know what I want?"
"I view myself as relatively happy..."

Does it ever enter your mind to find out the answers... If it does,
WELCOME TO MY WORLD.

I had incredible luck to work with Michael Newton, the author of the process of Life Between Lives. During that time, I learned that Michael Newton has a secret. His process includes incredibly powerful spiritual preparation to each client session. Over the years this process has been perfected, interviewing thousands of people in a deep hypnotic state about the life of their souls, decisions they make and purpose of their existence.

Asking a question that opens you into a channel of bright light and messages from your wisdom directly to you is an interesting beautiful and spiritual way of finding your solutions to your questions. Try it first on your own and be creative. Set you intent and become pure light. Then your answer comes.

Interfere With Your Brain

A woman tells me about a wonderful experience, imagining herself at her future baby birth, the way she wants to be at her birth, enjoying herself, and the sound of her husband's voice, leading her through breathing into relaxation so she looks relaxed and at peace. Telling  about this imaginary experience she actually looks like she feels it as real. She looks up to the sky and giggles. And just as she basks in this experience, ...a thought comes up, her forehead habitually wrinkles, eyes look at me with a question, as she, following that thought, forgets about her wonderful imaginary experience, and injects herself into a psychological nightmare of her imaginary worry.

Sounds familiar?

Many of us follow this pattern of habit:

Enjoy an experience and suddenly stop, interrupt themselves and begin to follow a familar path of another experience.

It is nothing else but a habit, but a strong habit nonetheless.

Remember, when you were a child, maybe 2 or 3 you may have been standing in the yard wondering, or  laying on the grass staring at the world, just like a young mom's 2-year-old son was last week in the playground. She pushed him gently forward and said - "Go, enjoy yourself, play, run, do something!" How do we know that this little human being is NOT enjoying himself at the moment already?

Why do parents feel free to interrupt the experience a child is having in oder to inflict an experience they want him to have?

And although it is impossible to have the other person's experience, we begin to learn to put our experiences in a box, since the early age.

We begin to learn that being who we are is simply unsafe and impractical. That it is a lot easier to respond than not respond, and we begin to pay attention to things that possibly may take away our attention from a good thing. We begin to live a life of PROTECTION, trying to protect what we have from what may happen, desperately looking into the future trying to guess, what is going to happen next.

This is what people want to know most - what is going to happen?

Young parents want assurance that they know what is going to happen during the birth, that they will be able to sustain themselves and they kids, that they are going to be good parents, all the while forgetting to be human, to be themselves, and to let their children the same allowance - to be themselves.

But forget analysis of the past, let us move on from what we have now. As they say, now this, what next? What CAN we do to create the reality we want.

Interrupting the interruptions is the best practice, exercising which giving very rapid and creative results. The basis of this exercise is 3 step.
1. Experience or imagine an experience of something you want to experience. Notice how good it feels.
2. Notice when the interrupting thought or experience comes up.
3. Continue your experience of delight, simultaneously imagining the interruption fade away at a periphery of your inner vision.

This is easy to do, all you have to do is actually do it a few times consciously.

I trained myself very quickly to be very deeply concentrated on a task at hand when I started working on a trading floor of a screaming testosterone filled room of an trading floor of an investment bank. I actually can concentrate in the same effective way, even now, equally if there is quiet or when there is noise in the room.

It is an easy exercise to follow, so follow me now, into some research on the brain activity. Recent neuro-research shows that it is possible to create excitation in brain cells by delivering electric signals stimulation directly to those cells, and "have a way to intervene and experiment with entire brain circuits, to affects the wider global activity of the entire brain." (Scientific American, May, 2010)

Stimulation leads to the lighting up of the brain in pertaining areas with increased blood flow to them. For personal development this means there are shortcuts to the potential big transformational changes in a brain. According to research, it becomes possible to use the language, and configurations of words, sounds and visual imagery to imprint onto certain areas the desired result, which in turn would create the perception of the reality that is just as real, only desired.

As a result of such work, people begin to redirect their efforts, behavior, and activities and love the life that they want. Continuous reinforcement of activities that bring desired result, and interruption of activities that don't, eventually creates a new habit, of interruption the interruption, which leads to desired success.

Now, the only thing is left to decide - what limitation do you want to let go of and just cut off the support in your current behavior.

My pregnant lady learned the exercise of interrupting the interruptions very quickly. After all she really wants the positive peaceful birth. The habit however, is very strong. Thinking, doubting and worrying is hard wired into us to protect ourselves. Applying positive reinforcement, with duration and intensity makes this possible to create the experience of your life. So, go ahead, decide what you want.

My Angel Story

Who Are Angels? Who are Spiritual Guides? Are Angels Real?

Angels and Spiritual Guides lead us in the life of our Eternal Soul and here on Earth in our real life.

Have you ever noticed that you get "saved" when you should have fallen, lost, broken, or forgotten something?

Do you ever hear a voice as if from inside of you?

Do you get encouraged or reminded how nice and worthy our life is when you lost hope?

My discovery of my angels, my spiritual guides and the white light of healing made my life take a different route.

I spent over a decade working hard on Wall Street doing something I thought was never my calling - working with numbers. I knew about  angels for a long time. They always helped me. Find a parking spot, or remind me to take an umbrella, or a pick up some fruit on the way home. However, I nevre really was very serious about it, until I started work with dreams. I found a hypnotherapist who helped me achieve a state of hypnotis awareness in ultra high heallng light, and from that time I was fascinated about the work in higher consciousness bright light.

After I discovered my angels, my spirit guides, angels Michael and Gabriel, my life had changed. They became my friends and saviors, the guardian angels, my loving guides and my spirit supporters, they guide and save, protect and love me every moment. Here is my story how I met an angel.

But the very first time I encountered my angel and spirit guide on my journey for healing myself about a decade ago.
I switched jobs from the lucrative but unfulfilling Wall Street position I began my search for another kind of stability - the inner one.I was going through many changes in my life, one after another, and once utterly frustrated, lonely, feeling unloved and uncreative, I called for help. "Help me, help, help, me! Isn't there anyone to help me?"

When I heard back a soft man's voice (Not my father's and not my boyfriend's) I was startled and looked around, so real it seemed. The voice proceeded, as if in my own head, "I thought you'd never ask!" "Who is it?" I cried out, and the tears dried in my eyes. "Michael", said the voice, and a vague image came to my mind, as if a bright light all of a sudden shone on everything around me, and in the light was a tall figure (about 9 feet tall) and all made of light with golden hair and bright white glow in the place where I could imagine was his face. I did not believe in seeing images like this, so I was amazed.

Michael came in a flaming red robe, all decorated with golden embroidery, guided me through the dim shimmering brightness of the clouds. I was experiencing my own LBL Life Between Lives experience. The clouds seemed so real. Archangel Michael was there with a specific role - to show me the way and this time the way was to direct me to my wise Higher Consciousness Counsel.

Beside him was another "man" image, younger, smilier, and in a blue robe, also with golden decor around his collar. His name appeared to be Gabriel. Archangel Gabriel's role was to physically protect me, and, because in the Light and Love of our eternal home there is only unconditional love, so he had nothing to protect and used his time humorously joking in a loving way. "You ought to have more fun, dear Morrin!" He said smilingly and pulled my sleeve toward the bright light of Rejuvenation space.

I physically felt his presence and the pulling of my sweater sleeve on my physical body.
Later on, I began to study all kinds of interesting things about spirit guides and angelic help, I looked into Wicca, and Magic, druid invocations and the elements healing help, shamanic studies, non-denominational priesthood. I discovered Reiki healing techniques and healed myself from a few bad things in my health, I came to learn about dreams and in dream to work with angels and spirit guides to receive spiritual guidance and help through deep meditation.

All the while angels were here with me helping and assisting me with my path.

The first gift I got from Michael was a big heavy red radiant heart, seemingly three-dimentional and as if made of papier-mache, but I loved it and put it into my heart, and as soon as I made the motion to do so with my hands, the gift became White Light healing energy and a living warm LOVING light.

Later, I encountered more meetings with archangel Michael. I asked Archangel Michael all kinds of questions, and over the years, he answered them all, every time lovingly and warmly, allowing for my free will to decide.

I asked my guide Archangel Michael to be by my side always, and he answered, I always am by your side."

I hope you start working with your angels and spirit guides soon, I will be happy to aid your spiritual guidance with your angels and spirit guides, or answer your questions.

With Love and Light,
Morrin Bass

What "The Secret" Left Out That You MUST Know

The Secret never told us that the affirmation must have positive action in it. Then and only then it becomes a tool for manifestation.

SUGGESTIONS TO SELF

Take your goal and create a suggestion to yourself regarding this goal. Make this suggestion positive and action oriented.

So you need to compose your own suggestion in agreement with your goal, remember that all suggestions work. And they create success. Even if the result is perceived as failure. This only means that the goal was not clearly defined, or the suggestion was vague, or action was missing. As the NLP founder Richard Bandler says, "There is no failure, only feedback".

For example, if you say to yourself: "Uh, I am so stupid to have done that! "
This is a powerful suggestion subtly entering into your pattern of thinking about yourself and reiterated, reinforces itself into your belief system. Having absorbed something into your belief system it is not easy to change or remove it, even if the belief is no longer useful toward the life that you desire.

This is why it is more effective to use positive suggestions right away.

ATTITUDE
If you were to create positive direction in regard to those suggestions you would repeat to yourself something like the following: I get smarter every day.

REINFORCEMENT
As you further reward yourself with remarks like, "I am smart to do that," you would then reinforce the positive patterns.

POSITIVE ACTION SUGGESTIONS
To create positive action suggestions imagine what you want, not to what you don't want.
This is important, because most people like to describe what they want through what they don't want.

For example, you want to act smart. Say:

I act smart,

instead of :

I do stupid stuff.

Remember, that what you say to yourself is the command that you hear yourself reiterate. You experience this command in all senses. You begin to move toward the direction you command yourself to. And it had better be a direction you want!

EXERCISE 1

The above example is a simple and easy beginning. Learning to implement suggestions exercises toward your specific goal you must take a specific concrete goal.

For example,
Pick a word (one word) most representing how you want to feel (not what you don't want).

Some people choose the word "confident," or "calm".

Now,
Say that word out loud and then close your eyes for a moment of absorbing this suggestion. Don't think, just rest. Allow your suggestion to take root in your mind. Then take a breath and open your eyes and find yourself more confident or calm, or whatever you chose.

This exercise takes only a moment or so to do, and yes, you are correct, you will find that a few moments a day will strengthen your confidence and ability to be calm, if you do this exercise daily and regularly ( for example 3 times a day).

EXERCISE 2

Further exercise will involve a more specific goal. To do this it is best to work with an instructor, although you can begin to create the suggestions and feel free to send them in to me to check the accuracy of your composition. The components of the personal suggestion must include positive action.

Action must be actionable, doable and believable for you and also of course, measurable enough, so you can check your results.

For example, you want to begin going to the gym regularly. You compose a suggestion as follows:

I find time to go to the gym three times a week.

Finding motivation is one of the major components of the working positive action suggestion. Find your motivation and you have major breakthrough success in making your suggestion take root in changing your life.

Brain Waves For Higher Levels

There are states of mind that bring you deeper into your inner reality, that evoke higher and more extra-ordinary thoughts and create ways of being that otherwise are inconceivable.

These states are higher consciousness states. They are deeply relaxing and meditative, inspirational and motivating. These states that are based on higher frequency EEG, inspire your purposeful intentions, they create in you meditative experiences, and experiences unimaginable previously, like memories from the past, or future of your own creation.

History of Brain Waves

Brain waves are measured by an electro-encephalo-grapher EEG, to measure the activity in your brain during a particular thought process. The process was described by Dr. Hans Berger in 1924, and as often happens, the scientist discovered evidence that under certain conditions the electrical current emitting from the brain is indicative of the condition of the person's state.

What Are Brain Waves?

The active brain function is described as Beta state and is indicative of high level of alertness, concentration, fast thinking, brainstorming ideas. We find being in this state in conversation with another, looking for keys, figuring out a way out, etc.

Alpha is a more relaxed state with slower brain function, found in light meditative states. Walking in the park, shopping, exercising, eating, or reading are perfect examples of light trance state in alpha, bringing along visualization, creativity, learning and relaxation.

Theta is an even more relaxed state of mind, while day-dreaming, watching the flowers grow, in an even deeper relaxed ways, brings deeper insight, evokes memories, intuition, mental imagery, healing and states of floating and disconnect with time.

Delta is a state of light and deep dreaming leading to very relaxed sleep, restoration and healing.

There is one more deeper yet insightfully more alert state - Gamma, in which the brain activity picks up, sometimes recorded as higher that in actively brainstorming state, yet coming from a more relaxed positive bias, an inner wisdom state. We connect to our angels, universal wisdoms, and higher consciousness while in this state.

How to use these states for Higher Levels of Consciousness?

Any time you want or need to access any particular level of consciousness, determine the intent with which you will approach the work. Because what you will be doing here is reaching into your human potential, connected with the level of the creativity and insight.

If you are looking to get creative and insightful, using Alpha through Theta states will be helpful.

If you are looking to get connected to compassion, eternal wisdom, love and knowing, using Gamma state is most appropriate.

Using Beta state for brainstorming ideas, and creating powerful insightful results will be beneficial if starting from Alpha relaxed mode at first. The superconscious connection allows for the charge and infusion of the calm energy, and the evoking the experiences of self in the higher purpose state, easier accessed if started form a positive bias and relaxation.

How to use Brain States on your own?

Most people say they want to achieve their highest potential, yet are unaware what they need to do to get there. There are several ways to get to the place you want to be. Some prefer to use hypnosis and meditation, walking or laying down, relaxing and letting go. Some naturally reach the states of relaxe "flow" when they immerse themselves into what they love to do. Setting your mind on achieving a deeper state of quiet contemplation, concentrating only on the positive and allowing yourself to shift to the extra-ordinary realm of peaceful creativity and inspiration and allowing the wisdom to arise from within is easier than your think.

Just letting go is the first step with which everyone needs to start. Allow the peace and inspiration to gently envelope you. Experience the peace inside, where in the center of your being the deep concentration of the wisdom is, stay there, and breathe. Allow the creativity to arise.

Choose Your Life

That's right. Choose.
You see, nothing happens without choosing.
You choose to get up after you awaken.
You choose to have breakfast.
You choose to go to work.
You choose to come home.
Essentially, you choose your life.
That's right, you choose it.

I mentor women who want success. And a lot of the cases, we start with a question that comes up. How do you make a choice?

How do you choose your life,  your actions, your focus, your food, your clothes, your partner, your life? What is a formula for your making the choice? Can you update?

How do you choose the life of what many call happiness and what I call satisfaction and enjoyment? You choose to look at your life through a lens of openness rather than desperation.
You look at things through a magnifying glass of your intent and direction.
It is a choice.

A great motivator and speaker Zig Zigler once said:

If I choose to eat too much today, this means I choose to weigh more tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow.

So you have to make your life deliberate. Set a point to your life and keep going at it.

I remember, growing up I was a sickly girl. I grew up in Moscow. Up till about 22 years ago I called those cold winters and little sunshine my homeland. I was sick home with a flu for weeks at a time. Moments popping up into my mind when throughout youth, I really never felt good about my health, my body, or my life. Somehow, subsequently, not really feeling good about myself.

And this was probably why my father's belief that I have to work hard to achieve something took such a deep root in my system. I carried this thought with me over the ocean when I came to live here. I was searching and not finding, what will have become the embodiment of my dream, my fascination, my bliss. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, at this time of dissatisfaction and unfullfillment, while climbing a ladder of success. But I was ready to give it all up, just to be what most call happy.

When I found this work that I do now, that model to live by, my life had changed. Imagine, you wake up  with a felling of envigorating energy surging through your body, excited in anticipation of a new day, building up to an realization and expression of yourself at your best throughout the day.

Now, I see the dreary day that it is outside, the first day of February in New York, rainy, cold, windy. And then I look st what I am set out to do today, how I am set out to feel today to be able to accomplish all this and how grateful I am to be given to live yet another day of being myself. Being able to hear the bird chirping outside despite the weather.

I make this choice - to find enjoyment in each day. In the end of the day, I write myself a letter, reciting all the good things that I did, that happened today and that I thought.

Well, off I go, I have a lot to do before I can write tonight's entry.

How do you choose to live your day? Let me know that you want enjoyment in your life, and I can teach you what to do. It is simple and it is a choice.

If Your Were To Die Tomorrow.....

If your were to die tomorrow, what kind of legacy do you have to leave behind?

Last weekend I heard this question from a speaker at a conference in Florida. And this question sent me into a loop.

What if I really died tomorrow? What would people remember me by? And who, with the exception of my family, would remember that I existed? What have I done in my life so it would be important to people to remember me?

And then the other question popped: Why is that important to me? Is it my personal ego speaking or is this the purpose of humanity to leave something behind so the next generation has more awareness?

This got me thinking. Who am I and what do I do to add my contribution in the world? What can be considered a contribution?  Why can't I just exist in the privacy of my home, job, back yard, eat my food, watch TV and sleep, and never think about people learning about what I know that I can share to make their life better?

I thought, what I do now, makes it inconceivable for me to hide it, because not sharing what I know would be selfish of me. Because I know of effective ways for those who want to advance to the top of their performance, to the extraordinary, to the enjoyment and the feeling of satisfaction in their lives, to the magic of a mythological way of a hero.

I mentor successful women who want to be more successful in more areas in their lives. And many of them ask why they need to engage a mentor. They went to school, they know the steps, numerous literature is available for entrepreneurs, start-ups, career advancement, as well as for managing your relationships, attracting love and such, in many variations. So why do you need someone else, couldn't you do all of that on your own?

That's what I thought, when in the beginning I was cocky enough to reject help, thinking I know better what I need. Until my mentor pointed out to me how I can begin to control my story and make it what I want. When I discovered the methodology I work with now, I realized, not only do I not know better, I also need for someone to see inside and point out the obvious.

I will explain.

We all live inside of a story, a mythology, a plot we are writing, we are telling ourselves, like inside our own movie. When I was 10, I remember thinking that I can be a hero of someone else's movie on someone's screen this moment watching me perform my life from another dimension, as I eat my soup, wash my face or look at myself in the mirror, in my Moscow apartment close to 40 years ago.

The story I was telling myself was that I am an ordinary girl who is locked inside a dis-balanced circumstance. But I did not consciously know that yet. I was growing up, gradually absorbing views and beliefs that were dominant in those times. In my family, the dominant belief was that I needed to work hard in order to get someplace. Simultaneously, by the age 15, I began to believe that if I don't work hard enough (!) I can't get any place at all.

With my mother's guidance I was busy, I attended drawing and dancing class, skating, piano and singing. In addition to what I did outside of the school, I still had to do my homework on chemistry and physics, literature, two languages, and math (which I hated but this is a separate story).

I grew to rely on hard work getting me "someplace". I believed that unless I m awarded a highest honor, degree, or diploma, signifying praise from those in charge, I can't be happy. My own story unfolded day by day..... in the direction of ...... more hard work.

It was never enough. I could not be enough. I am not enough.

And if I am not enough...... then you know, what happens then. I am not enough so I cannot be loved, appreciated and if I don't have that I cannot be happy. And so it went on.

My story unfolded, and now I had no control over it.

22 years ago, "armed" with this unbalanced belief, and a Ph.D., I arrived to the US and was shocked to see how much work there is ahead of me to be able to be appreciated in this society where nobody even knew I existed yet.  I worked hard to get another degree, this time MBA, and still there was not a feeling of satisfaction with my life. I worked 17 hours a day and longed to have love in my life.

Years after, when I discovered the work that I do now, and when I re-discovered who I really am, and how to take control over my story, I began to find ways to "tell" the story I really want to tell.

I realized that it is fun to be able to control what goes on in my life and to predict and to compose, like music the sequences of my life in order to create the result I want.

As a result, my life began to shift, I found balance, and as a result of that, magic began happening in my life. I found work that I love. Over the next few years I discovered when I work I feel most relaxed and fulfilled. I not only feel at my best when I work with people helping them on their way to they discovery of their successes, I know that contributing to each person's advancement I create the new society of the future in the world is a more fulfilled place. Besides, when I am at my best like this, the universe begins to conspire, like it did when she put me in a set of circumstances where I discovered love.

What better life could I want? And yes, knowing that I can do more to contribute to more people's lives, before I finally dissolve, makes me feel grateful for every moment of my life, for the health that I possess, for the time that I devote to studies or work with others, or to my family, grateful for every next moment, and satisfied I am granted another day of being who I am.

In the end, yes, I am prepared to die tomorrow, even though I have no intention to do it, but to continue to tell my story as I intend it to and as I live a balanced and fulfilling life of my journey. What about you? Are you ready to live your life?
